SLANT and Vortex are co-sponsoring a poetry contest open to UCA undergraduate students in any field of study. Entries will be received through February 15, and cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 will be awarded for the top three entries.
Judging will be conducted by a panel of published poets who are also former UCA students, plus one member of the Vortex editorial staff.
For entry guidelines, contact Michael Blanchard, editor of SLANT, at mblanchard@uca.edu.
SLANT is the School of Language & Literature’s creative journal of contemporary poetry, and Vortex is the UCA student literary and arts magazine.

Question:
Why would I want to add a test student
Answer:
This feature allows you to create a student account to experience your course (content, tools, etc.) from a student’s perspective.
In the test student account you can submit assignments, take quizzes, post to the discussion board—anything that a student would be able to do. It is a great way to check that your course looks and functions as you want.
To set up a test student account, please submit a ticket with IT to request the test student account. Make sure you include the CRN of the course you would like the test student enrolled in: http://uca.edu/go/944588.
