Bear Marching Band

For over 100 years, the Bear Marching Band has been entertaining and inspiring fans at the University of Central Arkansas. The BMB stands as the largest student musical organization at UCA and is a symbol of campus tradition. Its membership reflects the university’s diversity, comprising students from across the country and representing all academic disciplines, underscoring the ensemble’s broad appeal and inclusive nature. The remarkable spirit of the Bear Marching Band emanates from the enthusiasm of these students, who combine their collaborative talents and diverse backgrounds to create a high-quality musical experience.

The BMB performs both on and off the UCA campus, performing at home games during the football season. The band also makes frequent featured appearances at various regional marching contests across the state of Arkansas. With their innovative music and drill, the band showcases a blend of traditional and contemporary marching styles, captivating audiences wherever they perform.

The Bear Marching Band offers an opportunity to participate in one of the most exciting and diverse organizations at UCA, taking advantage of unparalleled musical and social opportunities. If you enjoy performing great music in a non-competitive atmosphere, creating lifelong friendships, and performing for thousands of people, then the BMB is the perfect fit for you!
