UCA faculty and students demonstrating hands-on biology activities with elementary studentsUCA STEM Day is a special day hosted by the UCA College of Science and Engineering (COSE) and the UCA STEM Institute. It’s all about showing kids how exciting, engaging, and fun science, technology, engineering, and mathematics subjects can be! The day will be organized around hands-on activities, explorations, and events that will expose students to a variety of STEM topics. It’s a day to spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and show our young ones that the world of STEM is full of endless possibilities for learning and discovery.

Registration is available for 4th grade classes. Registration is available soon. Once capacity is reached, registration will close.

Morning Session is 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Afternoon Session is 11:15 am – 2:15 pm

Each school will attend one of the two sessions. From 11:15-12:00, all students are invited to bring a picnic lunch and participate in a large-scale science demo. In the case of bad weather, the 11:15-12:00 session will be canceled.
