University of Central Arkansas and Arkansas Tech University Cadets conducted a Fall Field Training Exercise (FTX) at Camp Robinson, AR from 7-9 November with over 45 Cadets in attendance. The FTX began with a day land navigation followed by night land navigation; a new experience for our MS I’s. The following day, the Bayonet Battalion conducted three squad level tactical lanes. On day three, the battalion conducted a round robin circuit training that involved claymore emplacement, M240/249 assembly and disassembly, grenade throwing and identification, radio assembly and operation, as well as Tactical Combat Casualty Care. The FTX culminated with a team building event at the obstacle course where Cadets competed against each other.
