Dr. Lowe is an Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Central Arkansas and a licensed physical therapist.  She is a board-certified clinical specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.  Dr. Lowe’s research interests include pediatric physical therapy intervention, concussion assessment, and effective educational strategies in DPT education. Dr. Lowe currently teaches in pediatric neurology, research, kinesiology, and neurophysiological principles of motor control. Dr. Lowe coordinates the advanced pediatric elective and co-directs the interprofessional, student led UCA Go Baby Go program. She is active with APTA Arkansas and serves as the states programming chair. Dr. Lowe is clinically active at Pediatrics Plus.

Dr. Lowe is a 2006 Mary McMillan Scholar, the 2020 recipient of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Margaret L. Moore Award for Outstanding New Academic Faculty Member, and the 2023 recipient of the University of Central Arkansas Teaching Excellence Award.
