The SURF program, sponsored by the Arkansas Division of Higher Education, is designed to allow undergraduate students to conduct in-depth projects in their specific fields of study with the assistance of faculty mentors. The webinar will take place virtually on Wednesday, Sept. 21, beginning at 3 p.m.

The webinar is designed to teach students about the application process and how to best use the support from UCA staff. Additionally, participants will meet a SURF proposal reviewer and receive tips on a successful application.

The awarded student and faculty member will receive a discretionary stipend based on the number of semesters included on the fellowship. This includes funds to travel to a conference and present the work.
