Faculty receive grant to evaluate Hepatitis program

Drs. Jacuqie Rainey, Jane Lammers, from the Department of Health Sciences, and Dr. Lauretta Koenigseder, from the Department of Nursing, were recently awarded a $100,000 grant from the Centers for Disease Control through the Florida Department of Health for the Florida Hepatitis Program Evaluation. Bill F. Johnson, a 1961 graduate of UCA, has donated his papers to the UCA Archives. Johnson, president of Simmons First National Bank of Conway, is perhaps best known for his work as sports announcer for the UCA Bears football team. Faculty senate recommends decreasing non-tenure-track positions

The UCA Faculty Senate approved a resolution at its meeting on Thursday recommending that the university decrease its reliance on non-tenure-track faculty by increasing the number of tenure-track faculty positions. Trustees approve plans to solve housing issues

There should be plenty of housing available for students at the University of Central Arkansas even as enrollment continues to climb.
