Green receives grant to take teachers abroad
Dr. Brooks Green, Department of Geography, recently received a $64,000 grant from the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program to take teachers to Russia this summer where they will travel from Moscow to Vladivostok via the Trans-Siberian Railroad stopping in Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk. The University of Central Arkansas Concert Choir placed second overall in the 8th International Choir Competition at Riva del Garda, Italy. A total of 63 choirs participated in the competition.
