Scholarship at UCA to honor former student
Officials will announce plans Friday, Oct. 29, for a scholarship program to be named after a University of Central Arkansas student and basketball player who died in an apartment fire in April. The scholarship is being named after Aaron B. Mackey, a 22 year-old UCA student from Maumelle. He was a member of the UCA basketball team. Foley receives grant to study E. coli in poultry
Dr. Steven Foley, Department of Biology, recently received a $25,000 grant to conduct an evaluation of E. coli gene expression in the presence of chicken serum.
