Power of Purple 5K raises $1,400

The first annual Power of Purple 5K held recently at UCA attracted 90 runners and raised $1,400 for the American Cancer Society. UCA alumnus confirmed as federal judge

The U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed a UCA alumnus, Arkansas Appeals Court Judge Brian Miller, for a seat on the federal bench. A native of Helena-West Helena, Miller graduated from UCA and earned a law degree from Vanderbilt. He has served on the appeals court since January 2007.
