Henry Named Interim General Counsel

Katie Henry has been named interim general counsel for the University of Central Arkansas. Her new post was effective July 1. Her salary is $80,000. In response to symptoms exhibited recently by a limited number of faculty and students, extensive air quality testing by multiple independent agencies has been done in A. E. UCA Announces Dean’s List and Presidential Scholars

The University of Central Arkansas has announced the Dean's List and the Presidential Scholars List for the spring 2012 semester. There are 750 students who are named Presidential Scholars and 1,186 students who are Dean's List recipients. Officials to Continue Testing of Burdick Hall

Classes will not be held in Burdick Hall until a toxicology firm has completed its testing of the building, according to UCA officials. Classes have been moved to another location on campus. Classes will resume in Burdick Hall on June 18th following a week of air quality testing. Emtec Environmental Solutions Company, an independent company specializing in environmental concerns, conducted several air quality tests this week.
