According to our latest updates from the National Weather Service, significant winter weather is now expected to impact central Arkansas beginning as early as 12 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, continuing through Friday, January 10. In anticipation of possible hazardous travel conditions throughout the region, all classes will use the university’s remote instruction plan on both January 9 and 10. Students should monitor their UCA email accounts for information from faculty regarding course activities, assignments, and expectations, as well as syllabus adjustments to the overall course schedule.
Business offices will also move to remote operations for January 9 and 10. Weather-essential personnel should report to campus. Supervisors, in coordination with division vice presidents, should communicate with employees regarding on-site staffing. All other UCA employees should follow their remote work plan.
