Due to the current winter storm warning and the continued concerns regarding statewide power disruptions that could impact remote instructional delivery, all classes will be suspended on Wednesday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 18. UCA will now be closed except to students and essential personnel required to deliver services necessary for housing, dining services, public safety, student services, physical plant, and core information technology operations. All normal business operations of the university are also suspended and all campus offices closed except for essential and emergency operations. Supervisors, in coordination with division vice presidents, should communicate with employees regarding on-site and virtual staffing needs.
While classes will not meet, faculty will continue to communicate with students regarding courses and adjustments to the spring schedule. Students should continue to check their email for communications from instructors.
