Summer commencement for the University of Central Arkansas will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 9 at the Farris Center.
Degree candidates can pick up cap and gowns and stage cards by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013.
Approximately 425 undergraduate and graduate degrees will be conferred to degree candidates from all colleges. Students will line up at the Lewis Science Center before moving to Farris Center prior to the ceremony beginning.
President Tom Courtway will challenge the graduates. Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Steve Runge will serve as master of ceremony. Student Government Association President Adam Price will give greetings from the student body, and Dr. Charles Watson will have greetings from the faculty. Some members of the Board of Trustees are expected to attend.
