The University of Central Arkansas will hold commencement on Friday, Aug. 11 in the Farris Center at 7 p.m.
University officials will confer 218 undergraduate degrees and 242 graduate degrees to candidates from the College of Education, College of Liberal Arts, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, College of Business, College of Fine Arts and Communication, and College of Health and Behavioral Sciences.
UCA President Houston Davis will address the graduates. Hershila Lallu, 2017-2018 president of the Student Government Association, will bring greetings from the students. Dr. Taine Duncan, 2017-2018 Faculty Senate president, will address the graduates on behalf of the faculty. UCA Alumni Association representative Aaron Knight will address graduates on behalf of alumni.
College of Fine Arts and Communication student John Vinzant will receive the President’s Medallion for Outstanding Student of the University 2016-2017.
