UCA to host Bear Facts Day

UCA will host Bear Facts Day for prospective students and parents this Saturday, Nov. 8. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at the UCA Student Center, and the day will include presentations by UCA students, faculty and staff, as well as tours of campus. NIU students show support for UCA

A group of 10 students from Northern Illinois University will drive 11 hours from DeKalb, Ill. to show their support for UCA in the wake of the Oct. 26 shooting incident. The students are part of an organization called Huskies United, which held a candlelight vigil for UCA on Oct. 28. NEA chairman to attend opera premiere at UCA

An audience including Dana Gioia, chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, is expected at UCA tomorrow night for the world premiere of The Scarlet Letter opera.
