RECALL OF ECLIPSE GLASSES

The University of Central Arkansas has learned that a recall was issued for the solar eclipse glasses that were to be distributed Monday, August 21 during the solar eclipse event on the McAlister Hall lawn. The vendor providing the solar eclipse glasses initially provided a certification stating that the glasses were safe to use and the manufacturer was listed on the NASA-approved list. UCA SHOWCASES RENOVATIONS TO HISTORIC MIRROR ROOM

The University of Central Arkansas hosted a grand re-opening for the Mirror Room in McAlister Hall Friday. The university received a $250,000 grant from the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council to renovate the space.
