The 30-hour program can be completed in one year. Classes are offered in-person during evening hours as well as online to meet the demands of working adults. This degree can be earned 100% online if that is your preference.

The UCA College of Business is accredited through the Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the premier business education alliance in the world. AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and learning and development services to over 1,700 member organizations and more than 840 accredited business schools worldwide.

MBA Concentrations

The UCA MBA Program offers four concentrations to meet a wide variety of needs for our students. Those who do not wish to select a concentration may earn a general MBA. For an overview of the program, click here.

Finance

Students learn the basics of bank management, investments, international finance, derivatives and entrepreneurial and small business finance.

Health Care Administration

Students learn about nutritional services administration, environmental health problems, health promotion interventions, health strategies for multicultural populations, contemporary health problems and health sciences research.

Information Management

This concentration focuses on project management, information security, business intelligence and quantitative analytical methods.

International Business

Designed for students interested in studying abroad or seeking a career in the global arena. Students must complete the 30-hour MBA program, plus six credit hours in undergraduate or graduate electives in international business, international culture, foreign languages and internships. Electives must be taken abroad.

Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics

Data analytics is one of the fastest-growing fields in business organizations today. As companies collect more and more data from all manner of sources, managing and using it for competitive advantage has become increasingly important.

Skip the GMAT & GRE

Want to start the MBA program without taking the GMAT or GRE? The UCA MBA Program offers several exemptions:

  • Hold a terminal degree*
  • Hold a master’s degree*
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business with an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher (or 3.2 or higher in the last 60 hours)*
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.2(or 3.2 or higher in the last 60 hours) and has completed the four pre-requisite courses required for admission to the program*
  • Obtained a CPA

*From an accredited program or institution, including UCA, as determined by the UCA Graduate School and the UCA MBA Director.

No Business Background? No Problem

UCA welcomes and encourages students from all backgrounds to apply and pursue an MBA. If you have an undergraduate degree with little or no business background, just make sure you have these four pre-requisite classes completed:

FINA 3330 Managing Finance and Capital
CISA 2330 Business Statistics
