Good morning! This is Jacob Christie with the Tutoring and Academic Support Center, or TASC, letting you all know that we are now open for in-person and virtual appointments for students taking Summer I and Summer II courses. This service is available to all students for FREE! We’re open Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and have highly successful peer tutors ready to assist students in mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, and more (full list of courses available at the bottom of this email).
We also have Study and Testing Skills tutoring, which offers students the chance to come in and work to brush up and learn new note-taking, testing, and study skills for their courses. We also offer Study Doubling, where students can sit down and work quietly with a tutor to help them stay on task. Lastly, we also offer Technology Tutoring, which offers help to students with programs like Blackboard, the Google Suite, Office 365, and more.

UCA Women’s Giving Circle Grant Application Available
The UCA Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) is currently requesting grant proposals from members of the faculty, staff and student organizations for funding. The deadline for applications to be received in the Foundation office is Friday, September 12, 2025.
The UCA WGC is a fund within the UCA Foundation and was established in 2014 to provide and encourage unique learning and leadership development opportunities that will enrich the lives of women and girls.
Through the financial support of its members, the WGC dedicates resources to award grant funds from women to women, focusing on projects and programs benefiting women and girls. Grants will be awarded based on a majority vote of WGC membership.
