Lisa K. Ray, MS, was the Program Director for the Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies Program in the Department of Health Sciences from 2004 to 2021 at the end of which, she retired in December 2021. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with her Master of Science in Sociology, additionally she is credentialed as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (AADC), Clinical Supervisor (CS-D) and Peer Recovery Specialist (PR), all international certifications. She is currently the President of the Arkansas Substance Abuse Certification Board and Secretary for the International Coalition of Addiction Studies Educators. She is also on the Advisory Board for the South/Southwest ATTC and a member of their Educational Consortium. Ms. Ray currently teaches as an adjunct instructor for the Department of Health Sciences.
