Dr. Heather Hudson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Sciences. She graduated from Southern Illinois University with her PhD in Health Education, received her Masters in Public Health from the University of Illinois, and her BS degree in Health Studies at Eastern Illinois University. Dr. Hudson holds two national certifications as a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) from NCHEC and a Certified Sexuality Educator (CSE) from AASECT. She has been the national delegate for Arkansas Society for Public Health Education (ARSOPHE) since 2016. Dr. Hudson teaches undergraduate-level Human Sexuality and Health Communication & Advocacy courses and graduate-level Issues & Research in Women’s Health, Health Promotion Interventions, and Advanced Program Planning & Evaluation courses.
