Dietetic Intern Class of 2020-2021

KateLynn (Katie) Daniele graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in December of 2019. She was born and raised in Trumann, Arkansas with one older sister. In her free time, she loves running, cycling, cooking with her husband, and spending time with her niece Hattie Layne. Dogs have a special place in her heart and especially her Siberian Husky mix Kora. She learned about nutrition after becoming a student representative for the nutritional committee at her local high school. Her job was to research the state’s guidelines and advocate for her fellow students by ensuring that their nutritional concerns were heard by the school board. Because of this opportunity, she became aware of the preventative power of nutrition and was able to perform better cognitively, physically, and socially at school. After Katie completes the MS/DI program at UCA, she plans to work in the area of community and public health. She aspires to educate and improve the quality of life for families, children, and pregnant women within the community.
Blythe Dodds graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition in May 2020. She grew up in Leslie, Arkansas, a small town nestled in the Ozarks. Reading, hiking, gardening, baking, and revising recipes are her favorite hobbies. Her interest in nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle began at a young age and continued to increase as she grew older. While Blythe is undecided about what area of dietetics she would like to specialize in, she looks forward to experiencing different rotations and finding what fits her best. Healthy food is exciting and Blythe hopes to inspire others to improve their health and wellbeing through nutrition.
Megan Haley grew up in Judsonia, Arkansas, but spent plenty of time in Conway as her mother is a University of Central Arkansas alumni. Megan graduated from UCA in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. In her free time, she likes to read, do yoga, drink coffee, hammock, and simply be active. Her interest in nutrition grew quickly over the years due to living life with Type 1 Diabetes. Megan wants to pursue pediatric nutrition and plans to be a Certified Diabetes Educator later in her profession.  
Alyssa Frisby is a Carolina native and graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor’s in Mass Media Communications. She moved to Arkansas for a year of service with City Year Little Rock and after falling in love with both the Natural State and a local farmer, she decided to call Arkansas home. She loves running, volunteering, and promoting wellness in her community, and these passions led her to pursue a post-baccalaureate degree in Nutrition at the University of Central Arkansas. She hopes to communicate evidence-based nutrition information to others in an easily understandable way. Alyssa lives on a goldfish farm with her husband, daughter, and three dogs.
Elise Gisler grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas where she cultivated a love for food while growing up in her mom’s commercial catering kitchen. At UCA she discovered there was more to a career in food than just catering and fell in love with dietetics as a profession. In her free time, Elise enjoys hanging out with her fiance’ and her two cats, Chief and Texas. When she’s not hanging out with her fur babies, she enjoys listening to true crime and nutrition podcasts, visiting different museums and historical sites, and traveling to New Orleans to visit her parents. After graduating from the MSDI, she would like to pursue a certification in renal dietetics and help those in disease states where nutrition is a pivotal aspect of their care plan. She loves how nutrition can change people’s lives through so many avenues and is looking forward to exploring all of the opportunities the profession has to offer through the MSDI.
Jolie Jackson grew up in Beebe, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in May of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Jolie became interested in the field of dietetics after learning about the healing and preventative effects of proper nutrition. She believes everyone is deserving of a healthy lifestyle and emphasizes the importance of basic nutrition education for all. Jolie enjoys spending time with family, cooking, attending Razorback games, and playing with her dog, Zoey. Following the MSDI, Jolie plans to work as a clinical dietitian where she will be able to directly impact the health of patients.
Hayden Landon grew up in Lebanon, Missouri. She attended Ozarks Technical Community College and Missouri State University before transferring to the University of Central Arkansas in 2019 to complete her undergraduate studies. She graduated from UCA in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. She has an older sister, niece, and a nephew that she thinks the world of. Hayden loves to lift weights, cook, and travel. Other activities include spending time with her family, two cats, and a dog. She first became interested in nutrition during high school when she decided that she wanted to make a lifestyle change. After developing a passion for nutrition, she realized how impactful this change was on herself and decided that she wanted to change the lives of others by helping them reach their nutrition goals. After completing the UCA MSDI, she would like to work with athletes and individuals to enhance their performance and accomplish their goals through nutrition.
Elizabeth Musick is from Maumelle, Arkansas. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in May of 2020. The coronavirus pandemic greatly impacted her last semester of undergrad, but she is excited and grateful to continue her master’s and internship as a UCA Bear. Elizabeth worked at UAMS preparing feeds for babies in the NICU where she discovered an affinity for pediatrics. She hopes to learn more about pediatrics along with the many other area’s dietitians are needed. You may notice cat scratches on her arms because Elizabeth loves playing with her sweet, but frisky cat. She also loves dreaming about all the places she’ll travel one day and spending quality time with her friends and family. Elizabeth can’t wait to learn more about nutrition and spread awareness and support to others.
Dominique Stamps was born in North Carolina but has lived in Hot Springs, AR for most of her life. She previously attended the University of Central Arkansas and eventually returned to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Dominique loves volunteering and participating in community service projects. Dominique enjoys the beach, traveling, and running. Dominique comes from a family of educators and her grandmother was a culinarian. Dominique chose to pursue a career in nutrition because she has a passion for educating people, especially in her community, how to choose a lifestyle that will allow them to live upright, mobile, and free of medication for as long as possible. After graduating from the UCA Master of Science Dietetic Internship Program she is interested in working in the field of research and pursuing opportunities providing nutrition education to children.
Ambrazia Sublett grew up in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She grew up playing soccer and spending time with friends and family. She has always had a love for food and nutrition. From attending a local chef camp to working with Cooperative Extension over the summers in college, her interest only grew. She received her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky in December of 2017. Ambrazia loves coffee, baking, cooking, traveling, and food photography. Even though she is interested in nutrition education and counseling she is excited to learn all the things dietetics has to offer.
Allison White grew up in Poyen, Ar. She grew up playing softball and basketball which sparked her passion for health and fitness. She pursued her National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Training Certification and Performance Enhancement Specialization before graduating from the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor in Nutrition and minor in Marketing! She looks forward to expanding her knowledge in all areas of nutrition during the internship. Allison keeps an open mind about her career, as long as she is getting to help others towards being their best self inside and out. In her spare time, she loves being with family. She also enjoys lifting weights, traveling, becoming one with nature, and simply being a positive light in the world.
