Admission into the Master of Science in Exercise Science Program is rolling, and applications are accepted year-round.

Program Admission Requirements

  1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
  2. Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.70 on a scale of 4.00 OR at least a 3.00 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate study
  3. Minimum 3.00 GPA on any graduate coursework taken at another accredited institution
  4. Documented coursework in the following areas:
    • Anatomical Kinesiology or Anatomy (3 credit hours, minimum grade of C)
    • Exercise Physiology or Human Physiology (3 credit hours, minimum grade of C)
    • Biomechanics or Physics (3 credit hours, minimum grade of C)

Program Admission Process

  1. Submit a completed application to the UCA Graduate School
  2. Submit official transcripts to the UCA Graduate School
  3. Send a letter of intent to the Department of Exercise and Sport Science
    • The letter should describe what relevant experience the student has obtained, and how this graduate degree will help to advance their career goals.
