The University of Central Arkansas recognized the contributions of its Tour Ambassadors during an end-of-year celebration held April 25 in Buffalo Hall. The ceremony honored the students’ dedication to welcoming future Bears and representing UCA with pride and professionalism throughout the academic year.
The Tour Ambassadors program, part of the Admissions and Enrollment Services office, plays a vital role in shaping prospective students’ first impressions of UCA. Ambassadors lead campus tours, assist with recruitment events, and share their personal UCA experiences with visiting students and families.
Lizzie Langston, Assistant Director of Campus Events, praised the group for their enthusiasm and commitment. “These students are often the very first faces our future Bears meet,” Langston said. “Their energy, authenticity, and love for UCA make a lasting impact. We are so proud of the leadership and service they bring to this role.”
During the ceremony, graduating ambassadors were recognized for their service, and special awards were presented to students who demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the year.
Ashley Berry, Director of Admissions, spoke about the meaningful connections ambassadors create.“Being a Tour Ambassador is about more than leading a tour — it’s about sharing your story in a way that inspires others,” Berry said. “This group has shown incredible heart, and they’ve made UCA feel like home for so many.”
As the academic year draws to a close, the Admissions and Enrollment Services office looks forward to welcoming a new class of Tour Ambassadors who will continue the tradition of excellence in student engagement.
