Bryttani Bartlett Montgomery is the Director of Strategic Communications at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), where she leads a team dedicated to enhancing the university’s outreach and engagement efforts. She is currently continuing her education in UCA’s College Student Personnel Administration program. With a passion for equity in education, Bryttani is committed to ensuring that all individuals have access to educational opportunities and the support needed to succeed.

Bryttani’s professional journey at UCA began in 2021 when she became the first Associate Director of Communications and Marketing for Admissions. Leveraging her expertise in strategic and marketing communications, she significantly enhanced the university’s outreach initiatives. In July 2023, she was promoted to Director of Strategic Communications, overseeing all Enrollment Services and Student Success Division communication and marketing efforts. In this role, she established the Office of Strategic Enrollment Communications, marking a pivotal development in UCA’s strategic communications efforts.

Bryttani’s approach to communication is not just about crafting compelling narratives and content marketing strategies. It’s rooted in strategic thinking, data analysis, and digital marketing strategies. She and her team focus on creating communication campaigns that resonate with students throughout their educational journey, from initial inquiry to graduation. Their work with campus partners results in comprehensive campaigns that support student success and foster a vibrant academic community.

Bryttani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from UCA, which has equipped her with critical, creative, and ethical thinking skills essential for addressing the challenges in higher education and society. Her previous roles include working as a Senior Client Success Manager at Apptegy, where she developed digital communication strategies for public schools, and as a Supervisor at a local textbook company, where she managed operations and improved workplace efficiency.

Throughout her career, Bryttani has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to student success and support. As a first-generation college student, she intimately understands the importance of mentorship and the transformative power of education. Her unwavering dedication to helping students gain access to education and supporting them through their academic journeys is a cornerstone of her work at UCA.

Bryttani is also actively involved in various community and professional organizations. She has served as a Board Member for GLSEN, advocating for safe and supportive school environments for all students, and as a Child Advocate for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, supporting children and families in the Arkansas court system. Her involvement in these organizations highlights her commitment to making a positive impact both within and outside the university.

Outside of her professional role, Bryttani enjoys spending time with her partner and their three dogs, being outside, seeing live music and shows, and gaining new experiences through travel and learning. She encourages others to maintain a fulfilling life outside of work to ensure satisfaction and high morale in the workplace.

Looking to the future, Bryttani is excited about the growth of UCA’s student success initiatives and the opportunities to further support students through innovative communication strategies and collaborative efforts. She encourages students to be curious, ask questions, and seek help when needed, embodying a spirit of continuous learning and growth.
