Accounting Clubs and Events

Check out our Accounting Department Calendar of Events and the following clubs and events.

Accounting Club @ UCA

The Accounting Club at UCA is open to any UCA student who is interested in learning more about careers in accounting. The club introduces members to professionals working in accounting in a variety of different career paths. No need to sign up; just join us at one of our upcoming events to network with professionals and see if accounting is a good career for you. For more information, visit www.ucaaccounting.org.

Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is an international honors organization open to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in a financial information discipline (accounting, finance, information systems, and data analytics). UCA’s Theta Lambda chapter is an award-winning chapter dedicated to the professional development of its members as well as serving the community. As an honors organization, students who wish to join must have declared a major in a financial information discipline, meet GPA requirements, and meet participation requirements. Check out our upcoming events or, for more information about the club, visit the UCA BAP Chapter website or the BAP International website. (Beta Alpha Psi is not open to students pursuing a Technical Certificate in Accounting unless they also have a declared major in another financial information discipline.)

Meet the Firms

Each September, Accounting Club hosts Meet the Firms, an amazing evening where you can meet 20+ accounting employers, compare and contrast types and sizes of employers, and maybe find an internship or a job. To attend Meet the Firms, you must be a declared accounting major, have completed or be in a 3000-level accounting course, sign up at least a week before the event, and submit a one-page resume. If you are interested, ask your accounting professor or stop by the Accounting Department.
