Campus Recreation

The Campus Recreation Department has a tradition that offers students, faculty and staff a wide variety of healthy activities at all ability levels. Opportunities for active competition, fitness conditioning, skill building, stress management, leadership development and peer socialization are available through several campus recreation programs-

  • Intramural sports including flag football, softball, basketball, tennis, bowling, table tennis, soccer, volleyball, miniature golf, and horseshoes.
  • HPER Center, a 72,000 square foot facility that offers 3 basketball/volleyball/badminton courts, exercise studio, walking track, cardio fitness area, and weight room area.
  • Aquatic swimming pool program located in UCA Farris Center.

Campus recreation is one of the most active programs on campus with nearly 10,000 individuals participating in intramural sports, and nearly 200,000 individual contacts in the UCA HPER Center each year. The Campus Recreation Office is located on the first floor of the HPER Center, 501-450-5712. For more information about campus recreation, go to www.uca.edu/campusrecreation/.
