The Office of Diversity & Community and the Minority Mentorship Program is excited to announce "TRANSITIONS WEEK 2014". August is known as Back-to-School month for colleges and universities all across the world, and Transitions Week is full of activities geared towards helping freshmen and new students transition into the UCA community with ease.

COME MEET YOUR MENTOR! This is a fun-filled event where students who have signed up for MMP will meet their mentor and participate in games and activities to build relationships with their mentor and other students.

Transitions Week "GREEK EXPO"

This is one of the most highly anticipated back to school events each year. This high energy event will introduce you to the NPHC Greek community as they share a unique part of their culture, STEPPING! Each fraternity and sorority will give a brief overview of their organization and chapter, and will have 5 minutes to show you who they are and what they are do.

Wild N' Out Wednesday

Wild N' Out Wednesday is a an event guaranteed to give you a good laugh and great information. This new event too transitions week is designed to give freshmen and new students the Do's and Don'ts of college life with a funny twist, and the best practices to get students involved on campus and in the community through student leadership.

"Mix It Up"

With a focus on academics, "Mix It Up" is another new addition to Transitions Week which will get minority students connected to minority faculty and staff. This event will serve as a meet and greet with interactive activities to get students connected to faculty and staff resources on campus to assist in their transition to college.
