Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Can I apply if I am a transfer student?

A: Yes, as long as you are attending UCA for the first time.


Q: Do I need to bring anything extra?

A: There is a closing banquet that encourages business/business casual attire and activities that may require athletic wear. Other than that, all you need to bring is yourself and participation.


Q: What events/activities are included?

A: An itinerary of the scheduled events and activities will be distributed at the beginning of the program.


Q: When do we move into the dorms?

A: Move-in for X-men is August 15th. Further information will be sent via email before move-in day.


Q: Do I bring all of my things as if I’m moving in?

A: Yes, bring everything you were going to bring on the regular move-in day.


Q: Do I have to attend everything?

A: Yes, every activity in this program is designed and tailored to the X-Men. You will get the full benefit of this experience by attending every activity.


Q: What if I want to be a part of another program as well?

A: You definitely can. It depends on scheduling, so check in with the Project X advisor to make sure there are no complications.


Q: Is this a whole year program?

A: No, but this program transitions to the Black/Brown Male Achievement Challenge (BMAC) student organization. BMAC will host events all year long.


Q: Can my family drop me off?

A: Yes, there be a team of ambassadors to help you move in as well.
