WIND ENSEMBLE CONCERT SET FOR APRIL 27

CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas Wind Ensemble will be in concert Thursday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Performance Hall.

This event is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature graduate conducting intern Nathan Rakow, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin., conducting Debussy’s “The Engulfed Cathedral.”

The Wind Ensemble will perform “Night on Fire,” “The Engulfed Cathedral,” “Molly on the Shore,” “Whip and Spur Galop,” and “Angel of Mercy.”

In April 2018, the Wind Ensemble will perform in New York at Carnegie Hall, one of the premier concert halls in the world.
