The University of Central Arkansas will proudly host actor Colin Christopher as an Artist in Residence on February 27-28.
Actor, dancer, and UCA alumnus, Christopher has had a 20-year career in front of the camera and on stage. He has made his mark acting in off-Broadway theatre productions alongside Cynthia Nixon and Marisa Tomei, among others. Christopher also receives widespread attention for acting in national TV commercials. Most notable was his campaign “Brains and Beauty” for General Electric.
“We are so excited to be bringing Colin (Chris) back to campus!” says faculty sponsor and chair Shauna Meador. “Chris is one of a number of our alumni to have successful careers in the film and television industry, and we are looking forward to him bringing his expertise to our students.”
During Christopher’s time at UCA, he enjoyed interactions with visiting artists such as Anthony Zerbie, Gregory Hines, Edward James Almos and Jerry Van Dyck, and performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
