UCA TO HOST GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR GREEK VILLAGE II

The University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees and President Houston Davis will host a special groundbreaking ceremony for Greek Village II, which will include fraternity houses for Sigma Tau Gamma, Sigma Nu and Pi Kappa Alpha, along with an National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) complex that will house meeting spaces and chapter rooms for Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi and Phi Beta Sigma. The houses and complex will be situated on Donaghey and College avenues, near the Greek Village sorority houses.

The groundbreaking will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the NPHC Sorority Complex parking lot, 2145 College Ave. in Conway (across from Conway Regional Medical Center). Speakers will include UCA President Houston Davis, Vice President of Advancement and President of the UCA Foundation Kale Gober, Vice President of Student Services Ronnie Williams, President of the Interfraternity Council Colton Rowe and National Pan-Hellenic Council Representative Jarrett Counts. Following remarks, the UCA Board of Trustees and Vice President of Finance and Administration Diane Newton will join key speakers for the turning of the dirt.
