The UCA Theatre will present Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons) by Christopher Hampton at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 14-15 and 26-28, and at 2 p.m. on Oct. 16, on Centre Stage of the Snow Fine Arts Center.
Adapted from the novel by Choderlos de Lacios, this intriguing play brings together two bored French aristocrats who, just for sport, scheme to ruin the lives of their unsuspecting friends through a mixture of seduction, revenge and deception. The 1988 Oscar-winning film version featured Glenn Close, John Malkovich, and Keanu Reeves.
Tickets are $8 each for the general public. UCA faculty, staff and students may receive 2 tickets free with a current UCA ID. Tickets are available through UCA Ticket Central at 450-3265. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Due to adult themes, the play is suggested for mature audiences.
