Show to preview at Faulkner County Library
The University of Central Arkansas Summer Theatre, the new professional theatre at UCA, will open “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” on Friday, June 21, in the James M. Bridges Black Box Theatre in the Windgate Center for the Fine and Performing Arts.
This summer marks the inaugural year of UCA Summer Theatre.
Performance dates are June 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. and June 22, 23, 29 and 30 at 2 p.m.
UCA Summer Theatre will host a preview performance at the Faulkner County Library on Saturday, June 8, at 10:30 a.m. Visitors will visit with cast members, take photos and listen to a song from the show.
General admission ticket prices range from $15 to $20 and can be purchased online or at the Reynolds Box Office or Windgate Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased by calling UCA Ticket Central at (501) 450-3265 or toll-free at (866) 810-0012.
“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” is based on The Comic Strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz. Book, Music and Lyrics by Clark Gesner, Additional Dialogue by Michael Mayer, and Additional Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Join Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and more, as Charles M. Schulz’ classic comic strip, The Peanuts, comes to life through live theater.
