Ashlyn Sander has been selected as director of the Arkansas Collegiate Network, effective June 28, 2020.
The Arkansas Collegiate Network (ACN) is Arkansas’ official collegiate coalition committed to addressing substance misuse at every institution of higher education in Arkansas.
As ACN director, Sander will lead the coalition in its efforts to bring awareness to students at each institution and facilitate meetings between each of the institutions and its representatives.
“I’ve been involved with this coalition since it started in 2019, and this cause has become so important to me. I’ve met so many amazing people who have made combating this epidemic go beyond the collegiate scale,” Sander said. “The more stories I hear about how many people this has affected, the more I want to do for this state and especially the students here.”
Sander is a senior pursuing a bachelor’s in finance. The Texarkana, Texas, native is involved in the Student Government Association and Relay for Life and is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha.
