UCA SCHOOL OF NURSING DONATES EQUIPMENT

The University of Central Arkansas School of Nursing donated personal protective equipment to Conway Regional Health System. The University of Central Arkansas School of Nursing recently donated personal protective equipment to Conway Regional Health System and Arkansas Pediatrics of Conway.

The donation to Conway Regional was made on April 1 and included 150 isolation gowns, 400 surgical masks and 200 surgical caps, as well as 6,000 small, 6,000 medium, 6,000 large and 5,600 extra-large gloves. The equipment was donated from the School of Nursing’s labs.

“The university and School of Nursing understand that keeping the people who are on the front lines safe during this COVID-19 pandemic is essential. We are all committed to our community and to keeping those front line people as safe as possible,” said Susan Gatto, director of the UCA School of Nursing. 

The School of Nursing also donated 50 isolation gowns and 40 N-95 masks to Arkansas Pediatrics on March 27.
