UCA RECOGNIZED BY ArSAA

The University of Central Arkansas was recognized during the 58th annual Arkansas Student Affairs Association (ArSAA) Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony.

John Fincher, assistant vice president for Student Services Operations received the Mossie J. Richmond Jr. Outstanding Leadership award. The organization’s top award, the Mossie J. Richmond Jr. Outstanding Leadership Award, recognizes a student affairs leader who has made significant contributions to the profession and the sustained success of ArSAA.

The UCA Office of Diversity and Community’s Minority Mentorship Program received the Outstanding Innovative Program award. The ArSAA Outstanding Innovative Program of the Year recognizes an innovative program that improves educational activities, services, or management for an individual campus community.

Trevis Belle, residence coordinator for Greek Village I (sorority complexes) received the Outstanding Graduate Student award. The purpose of this award is to recognize a master’s level graduate student for achievement, involvement and potential for leadership in an emerging student affairs professional.

The ceremony was held via Zoom on Sept. 25, 2020.
