The University of Central Arkansas has planned a week of safety-related activities to prepare students for their time away from the university during Spring Break.
The Office of Student Wellness and Development and the University of Central Arkansas Police Department planned Safe Spring Break 2017 activities to take place from Monday, March 6 through Thursday, March 9.
The events consist of several activities designed to provide educational information to students in order to encourage responsible decision-making and prevent or reduce the risks involved in the college Spring Break experience, which is the week of March 20.
A key event will be a nightly self-defense class Tuesday through Thursday of Safe Spring Break Week from 8—9 p.m. in the HPER Center Medium Studio. The classes will be taught by UCAPD. The techniques shown will help people protect themselves against possible attackers.
