UCA PERCUSSION ENSEMBLES SET APRIL 11 CONCERT

The University of Central Arkansas Percussion Ensemble will be in concert Wednesday, April 11, in the Snow Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.

The 7:30 concert is free and open to the public.

The program will include “Tinplay” by Per Andreasson, “Music for Pieces of Wood” by Steve Reich and “White Pines” by Michael Burritt.

“This concert features both classic and new works for percussion and includes many different instruments and styles,” said Carter Harlan, a graduate student in percussion performance. “Percussion can be very loud and energetic as well as soft and intricate, so everyone who attends will hear something they like.”
