Building a strong estate plan often involves more than just drafting a will. But navigating the intricate world of your estate’s finances can feel overwhelming.
The University of Central Arkansas’ Office of Legacy Planning is continuing its efforts to demystify estate planning with another installment of its Plan Now, Impact Forever seminar series.
The next session will take place on Thursday, February 1 at 5:30 p.m. in Buffalo Alumni Hall on the UCA campus. The session will cover estate planning from a financial perspective with a focus on generational wealth as well as the different types of charitable giving and how they can benefit an estate.
The hour-long seminar will be presented by UCA alumnus Osmar Garcia ’13 and include time for Q&A at the end. Anyone interested in attending can register for the event online, though seating is limited. Refreshments will be provided.
Garcia is the co-founder and partner of Garcia Wealth Management, which is part of Northwestern Mutual. Originally from Jalisco, Mexico, Garcia moved with his family to Morrilton, Arkansas in 1998 where he graduated from Morrilton High School. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from UCA in 2013.
In the community, Garcia is active with several organizations, including serving as vice president of Opportunity Matters Arkansas. He also serves on several boards. Away from work, Garcia enjoys spending time with his wife Morgan and their four children.
