The University of Central Arkansas will host a panel with Chad Griffin and Lance Black on Monday, October 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the McCastlain Ballroom.
Griffin is an Arkansas native, and the president of the Human Rights Campaign, which is the country’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender civil rights organization. Black is an Academy Award winning screenwriter for the movie Milk.
The panel discussion is in recognition of National Coming out Day. “We are honored to have Chad Griffin and Lance Black at UCA. We support the work the Human Rights Campaign is doing for the LGBTQ community, and we look forward to hearing from both Chad Griffin and Lance Black,” said Reesa Ramsahai, women’s issues outreach coordinator in the Office of Diversity and Community.

Dr. Taine Duncan, assistant professor and director of the Gender Studies Program, will moderate the panel.
