UCA HOSTS ANNUAL ‘UNCONFERENCE’

The University of Central Arkansas College of Education is hosting EdCamp Arkansas Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m.-3p.m. Various sessions will be held in the Student Center in rooms 213, 214, 215, 223, 224 and 225.

EdCamp is an “unconference,” which means technology-enhanced professional development that has no vendors, no keynotes, and no pre-set sessions. The entire day is structured around the needs of the attendees on the day of the conference.

Possible discussions include educational technology, teacher evaluation (TESS), parental involvement and other topics participants would like to collaborate.

Educators and other related professionals are encouraged to attend the daylong event. EdCamp is eligible for official professional development credit from the Arkansas Department of Education.
