The University of Central Arkansas announces the hiring of Mindy Pipkin as the new associate general counsel/compliance officer for the university.

One of Pipkin’s primary responsibilities will be coordinating the university’s compliance with Title IX and investigating and responding to all Title IX complaints.

Pipkin is a UCA alumna who graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. Furthering her education, Pipkin graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2004.

“I am excited to be back at my alma mater and to be more involved in the Conway community where I have resided for the last 20 years,” Pipkin said. “There are a number of unique legal challenges at universities. For example, Title IX is an important issue. I would like to ensure adequate understanding and training on Title IX-related issues.”

Her work experience includes Anderson, Murphy & Hopkins as a litigation attorney from 2004-2013. Additionally, she worked at the Office of the Arkansas Attorney General in the Division of Civil Litigation starting as an assistant attorney general and advancing to senior assistant attorney general from May 2013 until she began her employment at UCA in January 2017.
