UCA, COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO ANNOUNCE GROWTH PLAN FOR LONOKE

The University of Central Arkansas Center for Community and Economic Development in partnership with the City of Lonoke, Lonoke Area Chamber of Commerce and the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will unveil “Kick Start Lonoke,” a community action plan outlining the strategic blueprint for the growth and development of Lonoke over the next five years.

The announcement is 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18 at the Lonoke Depot grounds in downtown Lonoke.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson is the featured speaker at the announcement.

The announcement is the culmination of nine months of community engagement and strategic planning assistance that was initiated by the Community Development Institute 2016 Advanced Year Class.

This event is open to the public.  A reception will follow at Lonoke Chamber of Commerce.
