CONWAY—The University of Central Arkansas campus and Conway community are being asked to donate Teddy bears in the Share-a-Bear charitable event in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness month.
The UCA Sociology Club, UCAPD, Log Cabin Democrat and the Conway Police Department have partnered to collect Teddy bears from October 27 to October 31. Teddy bears collected from the Share-a-Bear drive will be distributed among local law enforcement agencies for use in response calls to domestic violence calls. Remaining bears will be donated to Women’s Shelter, Haven, Bethlehem House, and other local agencies.
Teddy bear donations can be dropped off at the following UCA campus and community collection locations:
