CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas Chamber Choir will perform “A Springtime Madrigal” on Thursday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Snow Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
“The program will consist of choral music from the Renaissance, Romantic era and 20th century,” said John Erwin, director of choral activities at UCA.
The choir will perform, among other pieces, “The Silver Swan” and “Ah, Dear Heart” by Orlando Gibbons, “Since First I Saw Your Face” by Thomas Ford, “Il est bel et bon” by Pierre Passereau, “Ach, weh des Leiden” by Hans Leo Hassler, “Fair Phyllis I Saw Sitting All Alone” by John Farmer and “O Domine Jesu Christe” by Francisco Guerrero.
The concert is free and open to the public.
