UCA CELEBRATES KING WITH PRAYER BREAKFAST

The University of Central Arkansas Office of Diversity and Community and Aramark Food Services will host the annual MLK Prayer Breakfast Friday, Jan. 18 in the Student Center, room 205. Breakfast begins at 8:15 a.m., and the official program begins at 9 a.m.

The breakfast is held each year to celebrate the spiritual legacy and moral courage that Dr. Martin Luther King brought to the social justice movement. The keynote speaker will be George B. McGill, mayor of Fort Smith and former Arkansas state representative. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Sylvan Hills Middle School Vox Chorale, directed by UCA alumnus Dr. Matthew Farr.
