Summer tutors Benjamin Favorite and Breanna Racher were recognized as Bear CLAWS recipients at the August board meeting.
CLAWS, an acronym for Celebrating the Lofty Achievements of Our Wonderful Students, is awarded to one or more exceptional students or recognized student organizations during regularly scheduled board meetings.
Favorite is a senior mathematics major and music composition minor from Hot Springs. He works in the Tutoring Center.
Racher is a senior biology major and STEM education minor from Little Rock. She also works in UCA’s Tutoring Center.
Both were awarded for their dedication to tutoring UCA’s students, especially for tutoring during the summer months this year.
