Come enjoy the great outdoors at the University of Central Arkansas?s Jewel E. Moore Nature Reserve on Sunday, May 1. Dr. Don Culwell, a plant taxonomist at UCA, will lead an informative walk through the nature reserve, highlighting the unique plants of the prairie ecosystem. Plants that will be seen are the insectivorous Sundew, perennial grasses and a variety of blooming flowers.
The group will meet at 4 p.m. in the HPER Center parking lot located off of Farris Road. Participants should wear appropriate outdoor clothing including a good pair of boots. This outing will last about two hours.
