The University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees and President Tom Courtway will host a topping out ceremony for Donaghey Hall at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21 on the lawn of Thompson Hall.
The mixed-use building will be a 67,500-square-foot, four-story building at the intersection of Bruce Street and Donaghey Avenue. The first floor will consist of approximately 15,000 square feet of commercial space. The upper floors will be residence hall space with 165 beds for sophomore- and junior-level students.
The university broke ground on the structure in April. It will be open in fall 2016.
